Where do you hold public schedule training?

Sydney & Melbourne, or other ANZ cites based on customer demand.

We also conduct virtual classes, so ask us about the options.

Do you offer customised private classes?

Yes, we travel to your site, and as long as there is a suitable training environment, and internet connectivity to access learning materials and class labs, we can deliver training where you need it.  Our experienced Instructors can work with your time in advance and on the ground during training to deliver a program that matches the capability needs of your team, and the particular design and learning priorities of your environment.

Do you offer virtual-delivery classes ?

Yes, most Housley programs can be delivered as Virtual-delivery classes via Webex Training Centre – just check with us on the options.

What equipment do I need for virtual-delivery class?

For Housley virtual-delivery classes, we’ll suggest the following to ensure a smooth experience:
– a modern browser
– Microsoft Remote Desktop installed
– 2 extended monitors (for the WebEx session , lab access, digital kits / manuals access)
– Headphones and web-cam
We’ll advise on particular URLs you’ll need to be accessing during the class, after you register.

Do you guarantee to run scheduled public classes?

You’ll find scheduled public class dates on our course outline pages.  Housley makes go / no go decisions on each public class 2 weeks from scheduled commencement, based on total registered students at that time.

What will happen after I complete my registration?

  • Only the person who made the registration will get an ‘Acknowledgment Email’ from learning@housley.com.au. If you don’t see it in your Inbox please check your Junk Mail.
  • The person from the ‘Student Details’ field will not get the ‘Acknowledgement Email’, the person who made the registration on the student’s behalf should inform them that they have registered them in the workshop.

What if I didn’t get an acknowledgement email?

 

When will I get the Workshop logistics?

  • Once the class is Confirmed to Run, each student who registered on the workshop will get the “Workshop Confirmation and Logistics” email from bellesantos@housley.com.au
  • Workshop will be Confirmed to Run once we have reached the minimum number to run the class.

What emails should I be expecting from Housley?

  • Acknowledgement Email – right after the registration
  • Workshop Confirmation and Logistics  –  once the workshop is ‘Confirmed to Run’
  • Reminder + Updated Workshop Logistics – 1 week before the commencement including the WebEx Session details and other important information
  • Reminder – Workshop Tomorrow – a day before the workshop

Why there are no dates available?

  • Each workshop schedule has a maximum capacity of 20 students. Once the workshop is Full, the date will not be visible on the Website.

Do you accept Cisco Learning Credits (CLC) for payment?

Effective June 14th 2021, Cisco is discontinuing the Cisco Learning Credit (CLC) program with its global Learning Partner community and hence Housley can not accept CLC as a payment option at this time.

What are Housley Learning Points (HLP) ?

Housley Learning Points (HLP) are prepaid training dollars converted into units of points equivalent to AUD$100 each, ex GST. Housley Learning Points are used as a method of payment towards Cisco training and services delivered by Housley Communications.

What can Housley Learning Points be used for?

You can use Housley Learning Points for any of the following:

You will have a dedicated Account Manager to work with you to utilise the HLP and maximise your training and services investment.

How does our organisation track our use of HLP?

Housley will send quarterly  reporting (at your discretion) to your nominated organisation’s HLP contacts to track ongoing HLP utilisation, available balances, and expiry dates.

Is there a time limit on HLP ?

Yes.  HLP have a life of 24 months.

How soon can I use my HLP? Are they immediately available?

Housley Learning Points are available for use as soon as payment of points is completed using PO/Invoice or credit card payment.

Can I use Housley Learning Points to pay for certification exams?

Yes. Housley Learning Points can be used to purchase exam vouchers. Please contact us with the details of your exams, we will advise you the number of points required and will purchase the exam vouchers for you.

We used to transact our CLCs directly with Housley before, can we still do it that way?

No, new policies and procedures mean that Cisco can only accept and process CLCs, but there is an option to register on a CLC-eligible class delivered by Housley, if you book for the class at Cisco’s Learning Locator 

My course is not on the CLC-eligible list delivered by Housley, but I would like to pay for it with CLCs. What should I do?

If your course is not scheduled at the moment, we suggest you contact our team to discuss the options for scheduling it.

We have a team that would like to attend a CLC-eligible course. Can you deliver it only for us?

Yes, if you have at least 4 students. We suggest you contact us  prior to registration at Cisco’s website so that we ensure the most suitable arrangement for your team.

How can I see which CLC-eligible courses are scheduled by Housley Learning?

On the Cisco Learning Locator, look for training provided by Housley Communications with the CLC-eligible icon.
