UCS X-Series with Intersight Deployment Workshop (UCSXPW2)

Description

UCS X-Series with Intersight Deployment Workshop (UCSXPW2) is designed to provide participants with an understanding of the Cisco X-Series Chassis based Server system.  Participants will learn the unique hardware features of the X-Series chassis and the scalable integrated management solution administered via Intersight.

The course is designed with a theoretical component and a practical component.  The theory will be covered first so that participants who do not wish to continue with the practical session (which has limited places) can still have the major concepts covered.

Course Objective

The objective of the course is to prepare participants for the planning and deployment of one or more X-Series Chassis, IFMs, Servers and associated equipment.

Suggested Pre-requisites

Participants who have an understanding of the challenges of building scalable data-centre style server systems will be best placed to appreciate the topics covered in the course. At a minimum, participants will be expected to have prior knowledge of

• Installing servers
• KVM concepts
• Installing operating systems
• Managing servers
