Nexus Dashboard Fabric Automation/Controller (NDFC) formerly known Data Centre Network Manager (DCNM) is integrated as an application of Nexus Dashboard (ND). This hands-0n workshop covers a brief overview of EVPN and Nexus Dashboard and also teaches you how to use NDFC for  VXLAN EVPN Deployment and Operations Management.

Objectives:

After completing this workshop the student should be able to:

  • Deploy an VXLAN/EVPN-based LAN Fabric using NDFC
  • Configure additional fabric functionality supported by NDFC (e.g. external networks, service integration)
  • Perform Day-2 operations of network elements using NDFC

  • Good understanding of networking protocols, routing, and switching
