HyperFlex Foundation Workshop (HX-FND1 )

   Description

The Hyperflex Foundation Workshop is designed to provide participants with an understanding of how the Cisco HyperFlex HX Data Platform combines compute, storage and networking into a complete Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) solution powered by the Cisco UCS networking and computing platform.

   Suggested Pre-requisites

Hyperflex is built to support both VMware and Hyper-V Hypervisors. Attendees will benefit most from this workshop if they understand the following:

• Hypervisor concepts – VMware and/or Hyper-V
  • Server virtualisation
  • Storage virtualisation
  • Network Virtualisation (vSwitches)

• Familiarity with Cisco UCS
  • NICs

   Workshop Objectives

Participants in this workshop will gain a thorough understanding of how the Cisco HyperFlex HX Data Platform uses a distributed data storage system designed and optimised for Hyper-Converged storage. You will learn how to navigate the powerful HX Connect user interface to Create data stores, snapshot VMs, make instant clones and backup to another Hyperflex Cluster (Asynchronous replication).
