Description
Initial ACI implementations are often deployed using basic Layer 2 technologies without fully utilising the advanced L3 capabilities possible in ACI.
The Configuring and Troubleshooting Cisco ACI L3 Workshop (ACI-L3W) is designed to give existing ACI practitioners the confidence to advance their ACI implementations to a complete routed ACI transit environment using external OSPF, BGP and static routes.
The workshop is a combination of theory and lab exercises that configure, operate and troubleshoot a variety of ACI L3 scenarios. The majority of the time is hands-on built around a migration scenario from pre-configured Layer2 ACI installation to a L3 deployment using ACI contracts and connecting to various external L3 networks including QoS configuration.
Objective
At the completion of the workshop, participants will be expected to be able to:
- Migrate L2 ACI configurations to ACI L3 gateway configurations
- Configure OSPF/BGP/Static External Routed Networks (L3 Outs)
- Configure contracts between Application EPGs and L3 External Networks
- Configure ACI as a transit network
- Configure QoS/CoS in ACI
- Troubleshoot ACI L3 issues
Suggested Pre-requisites
Before commencing this worksop, you should have an understanding of:
- ACI
- Attendees will gain the most form the workshop if they have attended on of the following
-
-
- ACI FE or SE workshop, ACI Deployment workshop, DCAC9K
