Description
The objective of this workshop is to build student confidence and familiarity in deployment of ACI. This is achieved in a scenario-based format that mimics a typical customer environment and the requirements and constraints for an ACI deployment. The course provides a deep dive into the planning, design, implementation, optimisation and integration of Application driven features in an ACI data centre environment. There is heavy emphasis on lab-driven exercises using real physical ACI hardware.
The workshop reviews the key concepts of ACI and policy-based view of the solution and is designed to:
• Build on foundational ACI concepts
• Develop ACI configurations
• Practice avoiding common mistakes
• Develop troubleshooting skills
At the end of this session students should have an expert level of knowledge and be capable of successfully deploying an ACI solution.
The student will analyse the business and application requirements, design a solution then configure the APIC before testing functionality.
Objective
At the completion of the class students should be able to:
• Analyse the business and application needs of a customer environment
• Design and implement a Application Policy Based solution based on
o ACI equipment
o Application/Endpoint communication policy requirements
o Hypervisor integration
o External connectivity at L2 and L3
• Troubleshoot likely issues
Target Audience
