The Hyperflex Foundation Workshop is designed to provide participants with an understanding of how the Cisco HyperFlex HX Data Platform combines compute, storage and networking into a complete Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) solution powered by the Cisco UCS networking and computing platform.

Course Objectives

After completing this course the student should be able to:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of how the Cisco HyperFlex HX Data Platform uses a distributed data storage system designed and optimised for Hyper-Converged storage.
  • Navigate the powerful user interface to Create data stores, deploy VMs, make instant clones and backup to another Hyperflex Cluster (Asynchronous replication).

Hyperflex is built to support both VMware and Hyper-V Hypervisors. Attendees will benefit most from this workshop if they understand the following:

  • Familiarity with Cisco UCS
